Goldman Database Guru Joins Merrill Database Group
MANAGEMENT AND STRATEGY
Harold Piskiel, a Goldman Sachs & Co. technologist active in development of distributed databases, has left his post for a similar job at Merrill Lynch & Co.
According to Merrill director of global operations and support systems, Don Trojan, Piskiel took up residence at Merrill a week ago Friday as a senior database architect. Piskiel reports to George Chrisafis, who is the group manager of Merrill's database efforts. Chrisafis reports to Trojan.
