Sungard Reports Revenue Increase
EARNINGS REPORT
WAYNE, PENN.--Sungard Systems reported net income of $58.5 million for the third quarter versus $43.5 million in the corresponding quarter a year ago. Net earnings per share rose to $0.43 from $0.33.
Average trading volume on the BRASS order management system exceeded one million shares per day for the period and posted a record 1.2 million per-day average in September. In addition, Sungard’s Phase 3 securities processing volume increased threefold from last year.
