IPC Hires A New CFO While Sell-Off Speculation Persists

IPC Information Systems says that its hiring of a new chief financial officer (CFO) is unrelated to its relationship with investment banking firm Deutsche Morgan Grenfell (DMG) (TST, April 28).

The DMG move two months ago has continued to fuel speculation about a possible IPC sell-off.

Brian Reach, the new CFO since May 19, hails from a trucking and freight services company called Celadon Group. Reach has more than 12 years of senior-level financial management experience in international business
