Don't write off Quotron Systems Inc.'s Trading Support System (TSS) yet. Pending contract negotiations, Charles Schwab & Co. will use TSS as the data distribution infrastructure supporting its 5,000 discount brokers and other staff, excluding traders. The users at Schwab will be equipped with workstations from Sun Microsystems Inc. -- also pending finalization of contract talks.
