As many of you know, Insider sent out an urgent message last week to find the origin and meaning of the phrase "Reuters is pants." However, Insider, aided by a fellow journalist, has learned that "is pants" is from British FX trading floors. Insider guesses the term "the deal is pants" has been said more than a few times by hot-blooded Cockney lads. However, if anyone can dispute this explanation, our voice mail is working.
