McKinley Gone from Merrill Lynch

Wall Street trading IT pioneer John A. McKinley Jr., executive vice president (EVP) and chief technology officer (CTO) at Merrill Lynch, will be leaving the firm at the end of next month, according to an internal memo. McKinley will be taking a position in the technology industry, according to the memo. Officials at the firm confirm that John Cummings, chief operating officer (COO) of global technology services will replace McKinley.

The memo points out that McKinley’s accomplishments at the firm
