DEC's New Best-In-Class Plan; Tower Mountain System Up First
PRODUCTS AND VENDORS
Digital Equipment Corp. has embraced a new strategy for selling systems to the trading room technology market. Under the program, DEC will identify a series of so-called best- in-class applications which it will market and support globally. Products developed by either DEC or third-party vendors are eligible.
As a first step in the program, DEC has signed with Tower Mountain Software of Lambertsville, N.J., to distribute Tower's deal-capture and position-keeping system, known as Tempo.
