New ISMA Training Trading Room Backed By IBM, Reuters

TRADING FLOOR FOCUS

LONDON--The International Securities Market Association (ISMA), in conjunction with the University of Reading, has opened a new trading room designed to emulate the state-of-the-art trading floors used in major investment banks.

The association donated £3 million to the University of Reading for a building to house three trading floors, says Colin Beardsley, dealing room director at the University of Reading. There is a Bridge Information Systems trading floor with 25 positions, a 33-position
