Prudential Sets Relocation; Trading Room Rethink Likely

Prudential Securities Inc. has decided to move its New York trading operations to 1 New York Plaza in downtown Manhattan. According to Prudential chief information officer William Anderson, the decision to move paves the way for the firm to rethink its trading-room technology plans.
The firm's total trading room population numbers in excess of 500, Anderson says. Most are currently housed at 1 Seaport Plaza, also known as 199 Water Street. These traders are supported by a Micrognosis Inc. video
