An Ounce Of Prevention At NYC Virus Conference

A show of hands at the Financial Industry Computer Virus Conference, held June 8 and 9 at the World Trade Center, revealed that only four of the 50 or so attendees had actually witnessed a computer virus. Most of the speakers had never seen one either. Underlining the urgency of virus prevention, a full 88% of the attendees responded negatively when asked if an action plan was in place at their firm to detect or cope with a virus attack.
