SANTA CLARA, Calif.—Sun Micro systems is working with Rogue Wave Software to help securities firms adapt their application code to the latest version of Sun's flagship operating system, Solaris 10.
Sun plans to make Solaris 10 available to current customers with systems based upon the Sparc, x86, AMD64 and EM64T architectures as a free download on Jan. 31, 2005 (DWT, Nov. 15, 2004). An early version of Solaris 10 is available through Sun's Software Express program via www.sun.com/software
