Japanese Banks Choose Effix Over Reuters' TIW In New York

Two Japanese banks in New York are installing Reuters Holdings PLC's TRIARCH 2000 digital data distribution system running a trader workstation software developed by Effix Systemes in preference to Reuters' own TRIARCH Intelligent Workstation (TIW). The implementations will be the first in New York to utilize the Effix software.
Sources at Paris-based Effix say the combination, unveiled at London's Computers in the City show in November (TST, Nov. 20, 1989), is being installed at Mitsubishi Bank
