GSTPA Sells Off Intellectual Property Assets

ZURICH—The auction of the intellectual property (IP) from the defunct Global Straight Through Processing Authority (GSTPA) earlier this month failed to attract a single bid from software vendors or financial institutions.
Instead, it was left to an individual who worked on the GSTPA project for Teknesoft-Tata Consultancy Services, Jakob Schmid, to acquire the software for the price of 10,000 Swiss Francs (CHF) ($7,950), a sign of the swift pace of the devaluation of these technology assets, say
