CLS Adds Four Currencies to Aggregation Service

Non-CLS eligible currencies from Russia, China, Turkey and Poland are the newest additions to its aggregation service.

CLS is expanding its aggregation service to include four new currencies, without making them CLS-eligible.

Basu Choudhury, head of business intelligence at Traiana, says the four currencies were chosen as they are among the most liquid that are not eligible for settlement through CLS.

“The four currencies are among the most popularly traded and we witnessed increasing client demand for these to be included,” Choudhury says.

CLS Aggregation Services (CLSAS) is a trade aggregation platform for spot foreign-exchange (FX) transactions. It helps address the operational challenges of high-frequency FX
