Half of Investment Firms Won’t Be Ready for GDPR

Survey finds over 50 percent of investment firms are unprepared for GDPR’s May 25 deadline, but financial services is still ahead of the game compared with other sectors.

Corcione is the managing director of cybersecurity and data protection consulting services at Cordium, a governance, risk and compliance services provider. A survey by Cordium of more than 250 financial firms in April found more than 50 percent, globally, will not be ready for GDPR by the May 25 implementation date.
