Nasdaq's Sears: FinQloud to Expand from Storage into Better Access
The primary purpose of Nasdaq OMX's financial storage cloud platform, FinQloud, is defined by two characters─R3. That is, regulatory records retention. It's the mission statement Nasdaq has pushed during FinQloud's short existence.
FinQloud's head Julia Sears, an associate VP at Nasdaq, revealed in a presentation at today's Waters USA conference that the platform is looking to move into other service areas.
"Some of the vision around that is taking those trades, orders, emails, IMs, documents
