Paris-based broker Kepler Cheuvreux has built a proprietary trade execution platform with Adaptive Financial Consulting, a London-based financial tech consultancy and provider of custom trading platforms.

Kepler wanted to move away from outsourced vendor technology, especially as the EU’s Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) will place stricter regulations on third-party software starting in January. Owning its execution platform means the firm can scale and customize its business offerings
