ING appoints third CTO in less than a year

Dutch banking group ING has hired Daniele Tonella as CTO. He will succeed the bank’s chief operations and transformation officer, Marnix van Stiphout, who has served as interim CTO since November.

Görkem Köseoğlu, who joined ING in 2012, previously held the role for two months, beginning in September 2023. He succeeded Ron van Kemenade, who stepped down in April 2023, after 10 years with the bank, to become the COO at Lloyds.
