Acadian Appoints Simonian to Quant Research Position
Simonian, formerly head of quantitative research at Natixis, will produce research and advise for clients.
Quantitative investment firm Acadian Asset Management has announced the hiring of Joseph Simonian as senior investment strategist.
Simonian is expected to produce original research on topical issues. He will work on the client advisory team and advise clients on issues across Acadian’s suite of equity and multi-asset strategies.
Prior to moving to Acadian, Simonian was the director of quantitative research at Natixis Investment Management. Simonian remains highly involved in the world of quantitative finance world and is currently a co-editor of the Journal of Financial Data Science.
Simonian also held positions at Fidelity Investments, JPMorgan Asset Management, Pimco and Lehman Brothers before joining Natixis.
