Former PIR Execs Launch Aussie Property Fund Research Business

The Sydney-based company will provide ratings and research for listed and unlisted property funds in Australia.

Based in Sydney, the new company will provide ratings and research for listed and unlisted Australian property funds, industry insights, and will take over running the Annual Property Funds Industry Forum event from PIR. Pillutla, a former investment analyst who spent the last seven years as MD of PIR, joining the company in 2009 following its acquisition by Aegis Equities Research, has enlisted Selwyn Chong, a former analyst at PIR and Aegis as head of research.
