Euroclear Names Lieve Mostrey as New CEO

Euroclear chief technology and services officer replaces outgoing Tim Howell on January 1, 2017.

Euroclear is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium.

Mostrey is currently chief technology and services officer at Euroclear, a post she took up in October 2010 following previous stints with BNP Paribas Fortis, Generale de Banque, and Fortis. Mostrey will replace incumbent CEO Tim Howell to "lead Euroclear through this next phase of its strategic development."

"As the financial industry's trusted provider of post-trade services, Euroclear is entering an exciting new phase of its development, amid the evolution of global capital markets," said Mostrey, in a statement. "I look forward to leading Euroclear's team of dedicated employees, committed to delivering risk mitigation, automation and efficiency at scale for our global client franchise."
