Wilson was most recently a consultant at Bank of America Merrill Lynch around FX risk management solutions and FX operations, before which he was director of cloud-based FX analytics provider FireApps, and spent almost nine years as a managing director at Weston Capital Management, prior to which he co-founded and served as president of Financial Market Solutions, a provider of online FX trading software.

He also served as managing director of global FX sales at Nomura International, senior vice president of North American FX sales at Bank of America, and a director at UBS.

Wilson says Exegy's recent investments in feed handlers for FX markets have positioned it to become "a dominant vendor" in low-latency FX data and trading solutions.

At Exegy, he reports to chief operating officer Rod Arbaugh.

"Scott's time as a trader and portfolio manager enables him to quickly establish credibility and to communicate the value of Exegy's solutions in a way that resonates with business executives making important decisions about their technology platform. His experience as an entrepreneur and technology vendor has allowed him to hit the ground running with Exegy. Quite simply, he gets it," Arbaugh says.
