Traiana Adds UBS, Barclays to Automated Central Clearing Platform

Addition of UBS and Barclays to give 'tremendous boost' to trade volumes netted on Harmony CCP Connect for Equities platform.

Traiana, an ICAP-owned company, is headquartered in New York.

Launched by Traiana 18 months ago, it provides automated matching and central clearing of over-the-counter (OTC) equities trades, in order to benefit from the netting cycle that occurs for on-exchange trades, reduced ticket volumes and a corresponding reduction in settlement costs and risks. The Harmony CCP Connect for Equities platform is connected to Europe's three major clearing houses─EuroCCP, LCH.Clearnet and SIX X-Clear.
