Citi Taps Keith Lau for Global Head of Funds Technology

Former State Street senior vice president and global head of analysis, testing and deployment to lead Citi’s funds technology department.

Lau will join Citi in London from Boston-based State Street.

According to an internal memo seen by WatersTechnology, Lau will be responsible for "developing the overall vision and strategy for Funds Technology and for leading the execution of that strategy in line with the broader objectives of the business" and will "work closely with our partners regionally and globally to ensure the consistent and scalable growth of this critically important product." Lau will take up his new role at Citi on August 1 and be based in London.

Prior to his role as senior vice president and global head of analysis, testing and deployment at State Street, Lau was also head of IT of UKMEA and senior IT leader of global operations/technology transformation program at the Boston-based firm.
