EquiLend Connects to Eurex's Lending CCP
Loans in equities and ETFs in Europe and fixed-income securities are covered as part of connection.
EquiLend integration into Eurex Clearing, which is part of Deutsche Börse, covers loans in equities and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in Europe, in addition to fixed-income securities.
"We are pleased that our participants from the buy-side and sell-side will be utilizing our connectivity to Eurex Clearing's Lending CCP as an additional tool in their trading activity," says Brian Lamb, CEO of EquiLend. "Driven by the need for further capital and cost efficiencies as well as the overall market environment, the securities finance industry realizes more and more the benefits of a CCP model."
