Bloomberg Preps Deeper Twitter Data Integration
Bloomberg will add data such as tweet volumes and sentiment corresponding to its market data.
Bloomberg first integrated Twitter data into its terminal in 2013, and as a result of the new license, will allow users to track tweet volumes and sentiment relating to stocks, commodities, foreign exchange or specific topics, and to overlay this information against real-time data on their terminal display, officials say.
"Our customers have told us that Twitter helps them uncover early trends, breaking news and sentiment shifts, which may be indicative of changing market conditions," says Ben
