FTSE Russell Preps New ESG Indexes, Ratings Data Platform

The vendor will roll out a platform that allows users to access more granular underlying data.

The vendor will make raw data on European, American and Asian companies from its in-house research team available via a new platform that is currently in construction and scheduled to be rolled out to clients next year.

David Harris, head of FTSE ESG, says the unit is "partway there" with its effort to make more of this information available, with aggregated data and scores already available. The next stage is to make the raw underlying data available for clients to access and manipulate, Harris
