Startup Exchange Aequitas NEO Preps Datafeeds, Tests Ahead of March Launch

The exchange plans to launch feeds of market data from its lit, alternative and dark books.

Last week, Aequitas announced it had completed the first of three weekend tests on Jan. 24 with participants including data vendors such as Thomson Reuters, Activ Financial, and Iress.

The exchange, whose matching engines and data distribution technology are supplied by the London Stock Exchange Group's MillenniumIT technology subsidiary, is now preparing for a further two test dates on Feb. 21 and March 7.

Upon launch, Aequitas plans to trade all securities listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange
