Update: Nasdaq Readies Chicago PoP, DR Site
Nasdaq's new PoP will provide low-latency access to eSpeed and its equities and derivatives markets.
Subject to Securities and Exchange Commission approval, Nasdaq will set up the DR facility before the end of this year, and will create its PoP in Equinix's CH4 datacenter within the Digital Realty Trust building at 350 East Cermak Road in Chicago in the first quarter of 2015.
Both projects are currently on track, and the exchange expects to begin establishing connectivity over the next two weeks, says Stacie Swanstrom, head of global access services and senior vice president of global trading
