Cloud Computing Remains Tough Sell For Data, Study Finds
For storage and management of reference data using cloud computing resources, financial institutions are still proceeding cautiously and carefully, according to a study conducted by the Aite Group consultancy.
Security, data privacy and storage requirements are reasons for their concerns, according to the study, which surveyed 21 market participants, including broker-dealers, investment banks, asset managers and exchanges considering using cloud computing or committed to the practice.
