Former senior vice president and chief of staff to CEO Dominique Cerutti, Anthony Attia, has been named CEO of Euronext Paris, a position previously held by the CEO of Euronext NV. The creation of an independent position will reinforce the role of the Paris stock exchange.

A new division has also been created to combine the different commercial activities of Euronext's markets business lines. The Euronext's markets and global sales will therefore be headed by Lee Hodgkinson, former NYSE Euronext sales and client coverage for EMEA and APAC. Hodgkinson will also assume the position of CEO of Euronext London once it receives Recognized Investment Exchanges (RIE) status by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Attia and Hodgkinson will both be joining the managing board of Euronext NV after the separation of Liffe has been approved by regulators.

Euronext NV also appointed Amaury Dauge, former head of corporate planning and analysis for NYSE Euronext, as its chief financial officer.

A chief operating officer is currently being recruited.
