BBVA Chooses Markit EDM For Spanish, Mexican Data Hubs

Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA) Asset Management has chosen to use the Markit Enterprise Data Management (EDM) platform to create hubs for the management of its securities, portfolio, fund, issuer and position data in Spain and Mexico.

BBVA has chosen the locally installed version of the platform, which will be implemented in several phases during 2014.

BBVA will use Markit EDM as part of an initiative to streamline its operations, reduce manual processes and mitigate operational risk
