UBS Becomes First Sell-Side Client for Markit EDM Hosted Platform
UBS has become the first sell-side firm to choose the hosted platform of Markit Enterprise Data Management (EDM), which it will use for instrument reference data mastering across all asset classes in its investment bank, private bank and wealth management business globally.
Markit EDM will work in partnership with iGate Corporation on the multi-year project, which Daniel Simpson, London-based managing director and head of enterprise software at Markit, describes as "probably the biggest EDM deal
