Union Bank of Taiwan Chooses Calastone for Funds Automation

Union Bank of Taiwan (UBT) has chosen to move away from the use of faxes to communicate trade orders and will instead automate its offshore fund transactions using a service from Calastone, the provider of a global fund transaction network, and the Taiwan Depository and Clearing Corporation (TDCC).

UBT will connect to Calastone's network via the TDCC and will then have access to cross-border fund managers and transfer agents. The Calastone/TDCC service will be able to process fund subscriptions
