UBS Buffs Orc for APAC Client Access

UBS already offers sponsored access to Asian clients, however with the extension, they will now be able to trade natively and through FIX on Eurex and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) without the need for exchange membership, via APAC hubs. Orc Access allows brokers to offer their buy-side clients exchange and electronic communications network (ECN) access.
"UBS is committed to providing client solutions in the APAC region," says Steve Hammerton, head of Quant HQ APAC at UBS. "As the Quant HQ business grows, these platforms allow us to meet client demands across a variety of markets and asset classes."
