HKEx Preps Test Environment, Schedule for New Orion Market Data Platform
Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing is wrapping up internal testing of its Orion Market Data (OMD) Platform -- based on NYSE Technologies' Exchange Data Publisher, and part of HKEx's broader Orion initiative to upgrade its technology -- and will open a testing environment for the platform at its new datacenter in December, ahead of the Phase 1 launch of Orion in the second quarter of 2013, which will initially cover distribution of the exchange's equities and index data before expanding to cover
