Bloomberg Nets Netik COO Mason

Bloomberg has hired John Mason to serve in an executive role in its enterprise products and solutions group in London, officials say.

Mason previously spent two years as chief operating officer at Netik (now known as CoreOne Technologies), concluding in July, prior to which he was chief executive of SmartStream Technologies' DClear data management utility.

Before joining SmartStream as UK regional director in 2008, Mason was sales director at consultancy Business Control Solutions (formerly Buttonwood Tree), and held senior roles representing the European business of complex event processing vendor Aleri and data management solutions vendor Financial Technologies International (now known as GoldenSource).
