LME Signs Surveillance Deal with MillenniumIT

londoneyeinnight
The LME will extend its use of MillenniumIT technology, which is owned by the London Stock Exchange.

The LME already uses MillenniumIT's Exchange platform for its derivatives markets, and the extension will allow for real-time surveillance along with the integration of its existing reference data system.

"MillenniumIT's surveillance application will provide us with a very flexible real time analysis of trading patterns," says Diarmuid O'Hegarty, deputy chief executive at the LME. "This will enhance our ability to detect and query real or apparent market abnormalities."
