Marketocracy Taps EAB for Options Leg of Crowd-Sourced Equities Hedge Fund

Los Gatos, Calif.-based mutual fund and crowd-research provider Marketocracy is setting up a hedge fund that will invest in stocks picked based on the commentary and investments of investors participating in its Marketocracy Data Services portal, in partnership with New York-based options advisory and execution firm EAB Investment Group, which will use options strategies to hedge Marketocracy’s stock picks.
