Cinnober Acquires Nomura's Swedish Development Center

Stockholm-based Cinnober is set to acquire Nomura's Swedish technology development organization in Umeå.

Cinnober, the Stockholm-based trading technology provider, has agreed to acquire Nomura's Swedish technology development organization in Umeå. The deal includes 40 specialists in developing equity trading applications and platforms.

According to Cinnober, in addition to an enlarged development capability, the acquisition provides the vendor with enhanced competence in delivering technology to investment banks and brokers within execution services as well as expertise in high-volume, low-latency
