SunGard Releases New MarketMap Mobile Solution

SunGard, a software and technology services company, has released a new version of its MarketMap Mobile market data solution.

Accessible from a range of mobile devices, the solution has lower bandwidth requirements and is integrated with the online desktop application.

"There are several key technical considerations firms must address including which device and platform strategy [they want to use], and managing IT security concerns," says Robert Jeanbart, executive vice president and global head of SunGard's MarketMap business unit. "SunGard's MarketMap can help firms overcome these obstacles, make data available faster and help financial services firms capitalize on the growing base of mobile market data users."
