Canadian company Velocity Trade has enabled leveraged FX trading at its London office.

Velocity Trade, a provider of foreign exchange (FX) solutions based in Toronto, Canada, has implemented the Spectrum Broker and Client Web Portal from risk management providers, Financial Software Systems, for leveraged FX trading at its London office.

Implementation of the technology, which includes multiple straight-through processing (STP) interfaces and a customized portal, began in January 2012 following the licensing of the upgrade in August 2011.

"With its superior client portal, flexibility and broad functionality, Spectrum is the perfect complement to our exceptional pricing and liquidity, allowing us to further expand our offering globally," says Ben Brown, head of FX at Velocity Trade, London.
