Pátria Investimentos, the Brazilian alternative investment management and corporate advisory firm, has selected SunGard's Investran for portfolio and partnership accounting.

The selection is intended to improve efficiencies, reduce operational risk and increase reporting capabilities. It should also provide Pátria with enhanced information and reporting to its managers and investors, as well as a flexible and scalable infrastructure platform that will help Pátria adjust to a global customer footprint, increasing product complexity and new fund structures.

"SunGard's Investran will help us streamline our operations through the elimination of manual and redundant processing, which will also help us create a more controlled environment," says Marcelo Nogueira, Pátria CFO. "We believe that we can rely on the strength of SunGard's reputation and solutions to help us address investor demands for transparency and robust reporting, as well as meet our high standards for risk mitigation."
