CME 15% Fee Hike Irks Data Consumers

Derivatives exchange operator CME Group has increased the cost of its real-time market data feed from $61 to $70 per user per month as part of a regular global assessment of its pricing policy, according to CME officials.

The 15 percent increase, which came into effect in January, applies to all Level 1 market data feeds across CME Group markets, including the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, the Chicago Board of Trade, the New York Mercantile Exchange and the COMEX commodity exchange.
