Changes to the Order Audit Trail System (OATS) Reporting Technical Specifications issued in May, and set to take effect on October 3, are going to increase the volume of identification codes firms will have to process, as well as increasing the volume of rejected codes that have to be reconciled, according to officials at two Wall Street investment banks.
