Grids are being used for lots of things these days, but the latest things in the industry that everyone is interested in are 'utility computing' and 'cloud computing.' Cloud computing could be a dynamic grid whereby resources are being added and taken away dynamically. The utility company does not just have to deal with the dynamism of multiple jobs coming on board, but the resource might also be dynamic in nature.

One of the interesting aspects of utility and cloud computing is 'cloud bursting.'
