IPC Strives For Digital Turret With New Tradenet MX System

IPC Information Systems Inc., the former Contel IPC, has made a step toward offering a fully digital turret system. The company last week unveiled Tradenet MX, which makes use of digital switching technology but maintains an analog link between the trader's turret and the supporting server.
IPC, which was acquired by New York-based Kleinknacht Organization last year (TST, Nov. 4, 1991), has long lagged the field in terms of digital technology. Rival vendors, such as Reuters Holdings PLC's Wyatts
