Nasdaq's Supermontage to Remain at the Forefront in 2001
NASDAQ SUPERMONTAGE
In late September, Nasdaq introduced the eighth amendment to its proposed Supermontage system. While addressing some of the concerns expressed in earlier versions, the most recent iteration of the proposal was still met with resistance, primarily from the ECNs, although Bloomberg Tradebook threw its support behind the amended proposal.
Nasdaq plans to launch Supermontage, no matter what form it ultimately takes, after decimalization takes hold in April. Until then, the two sides will no doubt
