Integration May Spur Natexis To Cut 20 Developers

PARIS--French bank Natexis Banques Populaires anticipates that it will be able to cut nearly 30 percent of its staff of developers as a result of its implementation of Tibco Software’s TIB ActiveEnterprise, say bank officials.

The bank also hopes to achieve further savings by sidestepping the need to write difficult and costly interfaces among the systems being integrated via Tibco’s EAI offerings.

Natexis recently announced that it will be using Tibco’s offerings to link front and back office
