Microsoft Responds To Complaint By First Union About Delivery Delays In Windows NT Compatibility

First Union National Bank of North Carolina (FUNB), which has been waiting since last October to migrate its PC desktops to Microsoft Corp.'s Windows NT operating system (TST, April 15), will have to wait a few months more.
Matt Conners, marketing manager for financial services at Microsoft, essentially confirms what FUNB told TST two weeks ago. Conners says that the NT hold-up at FUNB came about because the current release of NT, release 3.1, does not allow for Novell Inc. Netware file server
